Magicland is vast, so there is more than enough space for pushchairs to be taken in with you.
We have baby changing facilities. Highchairs are available. We also have a specific area for children under 4. However please ensure that you stay with your babies and young children. We sell the Baby Deli range of baby food. However although we ask customers not to bring in their own food, due to babies having specific tastes we are more lenient. Therefore we do allow parents to heat up their own baby food in the microwave provided. Please note that this is only allowed for baby food.
We can fully cater for those with disabilities.
If your child has a food allergy please discuss with a manager prior to visiting Magicland, or on entry. We will be happy to make the necessary arrangements.
It is compulsory that your child is cared for by someone over the age of 18. This is due to insurance reasons. It is also important that to maintain your child’s safety that you are responsible for them at all times. Our insurance also states that there must be one adult to every 4 children.
We do have special childminder rates during the week. However please note that these do not apply during October half term, Christmas holidays, February half term or at weekends. Childminder rates are only permitted with valid childminder identification. We also have a ratio for our insurance policy, which is 1 adult to every 4 children.
We have an overflow car park opposite the Shell garage, located behind the Chesterton Suite. It is a car park surrounded by small retail units. The overflow car park is a short stroll away.
If your child is 13 they must accompany a younger child or sibling for insurance reasons.
We do not currently have any lockers. However we are hoping to purchase some in the near future.
Socks must be worn to prevent children spreading any infections. They also prevent friction burns on the equipment, which children can find particularly painful.
Shoes must be left at the front desk particularly during our busy periods. This enables us to keep a record of how many children are playing at Magicland quickly in the event of an emergency, therefore maintaining your child’s safety.
We would kindly ask customers to not consume their own food on the premises. This is important for our health and safety policy should anything become contaminated. Many children these days have various allergies, and it enables us to monitor foods should this be the case.
